Meet the 20 golfers who just secured their 2027 PGA Tour cards
Twenty players earned PGA Tour cards for 2027 on Sunday, when the Korn Ferry Tour Championship wrapped up the season. The group includes a 19-year-old pro, Brown, who became the youngest PGA Tour card-holder in history. Doc Redman, a former U.S. Amateur champion, also returned to the PGA Tour through the Korn Ferry Tour.
The timing matters. The PGA Tour’s two-track system debuts in 2028, a little over a year away, so the 2027 season will be critical for players trying to reach the top tier, the Championship Series. Owning a PGA Tour card going into 2027 gives these players a head start.
